Egypt Pitso Mosimane reacts to Sundowns statement on Gaston Sirino

Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane has had his say on the failure of his club Mamelodi Sundowns sought after midfielder Gaston Sirino.

The Dstv Premiership side announced a day ago the termination of discussions with Al Ahly as they failed to reach an agreement on financial terms for the deal to be sealed.

After Red Devils’ director of football Sayed Abdelhafiz, Pitso Mosimane also commented on the subject as Al Ahly fell trough.

“This is the current situation and we need to deal with it. We may need a replacement and we may not. Mohamed Sherif is doing his job and we trust him.” Pitso after his side’s 4-0 win over Al Ittihad in Egyptian Premier League.

“If we find a player with special abilities before the Club World Cup, why won’t we sign him? We need two players with special characteristics.

“I need these two players to find replacements for Hussein El-Shahat and Afsha. I have Taher Mohamed, but he is very unlucky and played a great game today before his injury,” he added.
