Africa Soccer We’ll be more clinical in our next game against Rangers – Boboye

 

Akwa United head coach Kennedy Boboye said team will be more clinical against Enugu Rangers in this weekend Nigeria Professional Football League(NPFL).

Akwa United kicked off the 2020/2021 NPFL season with a 0-0 draw against city rivals, Dakkada FC on Monday at the Nest of Champions.

A game that was dominated by the Promise Keepers saw them share the spoils and Boboye has noted that his players n3ed to make their chances count.

Speaking after the game, the gaffer said “it was a game we wanted to win. 

We put in everything and our ball play was very good and I think we were just unlucky not to have scored in today’s match.

“We hope to work on the areas that we have observed some lapses.”

Asked how his team will be able to right their wrongs in their next game, he said,

“We need to be more clinical in front of goal and by the grace of God we will look into those areas before our next game”

Akwa United will travel to Enugu on Match-day 2 to battle Enugu Rangers this weekend.
