It is six years ago today that Cameroon goalkeeper Andre Onana joined Eredivisie giants Ajax Amsterdam. Below are his figures with the Whites and Red.

Onana joined Ajax Amsterdam at 18 in January 2015 from FC Barcelona U19 side. For his first season, the indomitable he played with the youth side (U21s) where he capitulated three clean sheets in 24 games.

The season after, he joined the first team at 19 in and the 2016/17 was his breakthrough season as he guided Ajax to Europa League final but they bowed to Manchester United (0-2).

He registered 21 clean sheets in 48 games that season.

In the 2017/18 season he completed 12 clean sheets in 38 appearances across all competitions while making 26 in 55 games the next season.

Last season, he made 15 clean sheets in 39 matches and has already 7 this season in 20 ties.

He won three titles with the Dutch giants including the league title and the Dutch Cup in 2018/19, adding to the 2020 Super Cup title.

In total, he made 198 appearances with Ajax Amsterdam’s first team, saving 81 clean sheets while conceding 175.
