Egypt Ahmed Hegazi to ‘stay at Al-Ittihad for the coming two years’

Ahmed Hegazi

Al-Ittihad vice-president Ahmed Kaaki said Egyptian defender and West Brom loanee Ahmed Hegazi will stay with the Saudi Professional League side for at least two years.

Hegazi joined Al-Ittihad Jeddah in the past summer transfer window on a one-year loan from Premier League side West Bromwich Albion.

Talks surrounding the deal said the 29-year-old centre-back could stay with Ittihad should the club lift the option to buy. And it seems that the Tigers are heading to secure Hegazi who has already ten starts.

“I would like to reassure Ittihad fans that when we signed Hegazi the deal formula was a loan with an obligation to buy, not an option to buy,” Kaaki told AD Sports channel, per KingFut.

“Hegazi will stay at the club for the coming two years God willing,”
