Nyasa Big Bullets FC attacker Peter Banda is set to undergo trials at FC Sheriff Tiraspol in Moldova, the Malawi champions have confirmed the development.

The 20-year-old midfielder will leave for the Eastern European country on January 14 2021, Bullets said on their website.

The trials will run from 15th January to 15th February 2021.

“The versatile right-footed Malawi national team midfielder is expected to reunite with his compatriot Charles Petro, who joined the Moldovan league leaders in 2019, the same year the two joined The People’s Team and helped the club defend the TNM Super League title,” reports Bullets website.

Banda is the Malawi reigning Player of the Year and has established himself in the star-studded Bullets squad.

He rose through the ranks with the Malawi under-17,20 and 23 teams as a creative player and top notch scorer.

The 20-year-old was groomed at Griffin Saenda Young Stars in Blantyre.
