Mohamed El Shenawy named Al Ahly’s Player of the Year

Al Ahly skipper Mohamed El Shenawy won the club’s player of the year (2020) award for his impact on Red Devils’ treble-winning season.

Product of Al Ahly Youth side, El Shenawy continue to impress with the Red Devils outfit.

He played a key role as the Cairo side won the Egyptian Premier League, Egypt Cup and the CAF Champions league last season.

In 47 appearances across all competitions, the 32-year-old secured 32 clean sheets with 24 in 30 league games (a record).

And he obviously claimed the player of the year award as revealed by KingFut on Saturday.
