Nigerian Players abroad AC Milan in advanced talks to complete Fikayo Tomori loan deal

England defender from Nigerian roots Fikayo Tomori is on the verge of of joining AC Milan on loan from Chelsea as he is lacking playing time under Frank Lampard.

Tomori will have to leave Stamford Bridge in order to get playing time and obviously experience.

The 23-year-old centre-back have just featured in four occasions across all competitions with the Blues since the start of the season. And a loan option is expected.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Serie A giants AC Milan are in talks to welcome Fikayo Tomori on loan until the end of the season as the club’s initial target, Mohamed Simakan (Strasbourg), got injured.

As a reminder, Tomori is born in Calgary to Nigerian parents. However, he represented Canada and England at Youth levels before choosing the country of Wayne Rooney definitely.

As he is yet to make a first team debut with the Three Lions, he is eligible to play for Nigeria Super Eagles.
