Foot Africa Morocco Shared Spoils With Rwanda In Their CHAN 2020 Second Game

Morocco failed to qualify for quarter-final in front of Rwanda this Friday. For their group C second game at CHAN 2020, Morocco couldn’t do better than sharing spoils with Rwanda as the game resulted in goalless draw.

A logical draw given the performance of the Atlas Lions. Although they dominated the match with regard to ball possession (71% against 29% for Rwanda), the men of Houcine Ammouta did not convince. Especially in the offensive sector. Out of 11 shots, only one was on target against relaxed team of Rwanda that posed much problems to them.

With 4 points in two games, the Lions are leading Group C. But they will wait for the third match against Uganda to confirm their qualification for the next round.

Meanwhile, Uganda can lead the pool if they beat Togo tonight with at least two goals away.
