Zimbabwe striker Tino Kadewere scored a very important brace in Lyon’s lager 5-0 win against AS Saint-Etienne in the derby on Sunday.
The Gones have outclassed the derby with a strong win. And Zimbabwean striker Kadewere was there for his side.
He was the one who opened the lead for Rudi Garcia’s team at the 16th minute on a corner performed by Lyon skipper Memphis Depay.
The Netherlands forward has given another assist to Kadewere at the 68th minute and he made it two by beating Jessy Moulin.
With that brace, Kadewere has now scored nine goals and provided three assists in 20 Ligue 1 games this season. And Lyon are now third on the table with just two points to catch leaders PSG (1st) and Lille (2nd).
