Egyptian left winger Mahmoud Trezeguet continued making second half appearances as he is back from a Covid-19 isolation.
For his game with Villans, the 26-year-old came on the pitch at the 80th minutes as Burkina Faso international Bertrand Traore makes ways for him against Newcastle (2-0).
The same scene occurred again last night when he came on for Dean Smith’s side.
Trezeguet took the place of Traore at the 83rd minutes and played just seven minutes and could not prevent his side from the loss as they finally lost 2-3 to Burnley.
Aston Villa are tenth on Premier League standings with 29 points. Mahmoud Trezeguet will have to fight now for his first role place. Maybe next when they face Southampton (8pm).
