Former Chelsea midfielder Oscar opened up on the reasons behind Mo Sal’s struggles at Stamford Bridge as the Egyptian winger failed to convince Blues officials.
Salah joined Chelsea in 2014 from FC Basel. However, his time at London was shorter than expected as he was sent on loan twice.
First at Fiorentina and secondly at AS Roma, where Liverpool landed him as he multiplied eye-cacthing performances.

With the Blues, he just scored two goals in 13 appearances. And Oscar came out with the reason behind his failure at Stamford Bridge.
“With Salah, it was different. He was unstoppable during practice, but always shy and quiet off the field,” he told Yellow and Green Football.
“During the games, I guess he did not have the confidence that we saw at every club he played for after Chelsea, and especially now at Liverpool.” he added.
Since joining Liverpool in 2017, Mo Salah is making history with the Reds as he has 113 goals in his name and provided 41 assists in 180 appearances.
