Egypt Galatasaray S.K. Manager Very Happy To Have signed Mostafa Mohamed

Galatasaray S.K. manager Fatih Terim has expressed his delight further to new signing Mostafa Mohamed. He who joined the Turkish giants Galatasaray from Zamalek on a one-and-a-half-year loan deal for a fee of $2M.

Galatasaray have the option to make the deal permanent for an extra $4M until 31st December 2021. However, it’s subject to Zamalek’s approval. As they have the right to reject the deal and sell the player to the highest bid they may receive.

The striker is expected to arrive in Istanbul on Saturday ahead of taking part in the club’s training sessions.

News of the signing has been welcomed by manager Fatih Terim, who revealed that he has been following Mostafa for around two years.

Mostafa Mohamed is the player who attracted our attention for the past one-and-and-a-half year or two.” Terim said.

Galatasaray scouts have followed Mostafa with Zamalek and the Egyptian national team for a year-and-a-half.

“He is young and a talented player.

“We thank the club’s board who worked hard to bring him here.” He added.

Mostafa had rejected a move to Turkey as his preferred destination was Saint-Étienne. However, he agreed to join Galatasaray on their second attempt after the French side became out of the picture.

Mostafa will become the first-ever Egyptian to play for the Yellow-Reds and the only second Pharaoh currently in the Turkish Super Lig alongside Karim Hafez of Yeni Malatyaspor.

They currently sit second in the Turkish Super Lig with 42 points. Two behind leaders Beşiktaş, however, the latter have a game in hand.
