AFCON CAMEROON 2021 we are ready to win this game against DR Congo-Mphile boast

Cameroon head coach Martin Ntoungou Mphile is confident of his side defeating DR Congo and reach the semi-finals of the ongoing Total CHAN on Saturday.

Both teams will lock horns at the Japoma Stadium in the second quarter final games scheduled for Saturday.

A victory for the Indomitable Lions who are then host, will see them reach the semi-final of the CHAN for the first time.

Saturday encounter will be the third time both teams will face off in the CHAN competition with Cameroon winning the previous two games which were in the group stage.

Mphile while speaking in his pre-match conference said the level they have reached is to take one game at a time.

At this level of competition, we don’t think much. 

“It’s only one game and you have to win,” Cameroon coach Martin Ntoungou Mpile said.

We know DR Congo very well and we are ready to win this game.”

“It’s good that there is popular excitement around this game. 

“Normally there is pressure on the coach and the players. 

“This pressure drops as soon as the game kicks off,” concluded the Indomitable Lions coach.
