Egypt Entag El-Harby Officially Signed Former Al Ahly Striker Mohamed Talaat

Entag El-Harby have officially completed the signing of former Al Ahly striker Mohamed Talaat from Smouha. The Military club wanted a new striker in order to replace Bassem Morsy. The striker who left for Misr El-Makkasa just on January, 31.

Mohamed Talaat was their choice as they reached an agreement with Smouha to sign the striker on loan until the end of the season.

The 31-year-old is an Al Ahly youth sector product. And he is the most remembered for his time with the Reds, where he lifted three league titles.Overall in 21 appearances with Al Ahly, Talaat managed to score three goals, including a famous one against El-Gaish in the final game of the 2008-09 season.

Talaat then went to have spells at Ittihad of Alexandria, Kuwaiti side Al Tadamon, That Ras of Jordan, Oman’s Al Khaboora, before returning to Egypt through Ghazl El-Mahalla and Masr Lel Taamen.

A short spell with Malaysia’s Petaling Jaya City FC. And another with That Ras earned him a move to Arab Contractors, where he scored four while assisting seven in 39 games.In January 2020, Talaat moved to Smouha. But he failed to score a single goal in 15 games. And he chose to join Entag El-Harby to rediscover his form.

Entag currently sits at the bottom of the Egyptian Premier League table with five points from nine games. And they hope that Talaat could bring them goals and points.

Their next clash will be tough as they will travel Hurghada to face flying-high El-Gouna on Tuesday, February 2.
