By the next 12th of February, the greatest african competition of the clubs will take back and the first games will be those of group A. Before talking about the matches that will take place on this first matchday, we will reminder you the four groups that have been formed for the event.
Feedback on the differents groups
After the first and second round of preliminaries, the names of the clubs which will take part to the competition is known. Sixteen (16) clubs were selected as usual. Actually, the time is to the last preparations, last settings with the teams because the big matches are coming with a great speed. Group A
The first group contains the actual champion of the competition Al Ahly of Cairo, the sudanese club Al Merreikh, the tanzanians of Simba Sports and Congolese (RDC) of V Club. If the group seems to be in the advantage of the 9 time africa champions Al Ahly, the task will not also be so easy to the red devils because their opponents will not come as their expiatory’s victims. The fans of these clubs will not be bored at all because each match will be a duel that ought to be won if one of the two opponents does not want to be far from reaching the quartersfinals. Wait and see the last team that will reach this difficult group.
Group C
This group is less difficult than the first that we talk about and is nevertheless too opened to every team. With the Guineans of Horoya AC, the South Africans of Kaizer Chiefs, the Angolese of Petro Luandaand the Moroccan of Wydad Casablanca (WAC), there is no favorite in this group. The games will be the real oppositions. Even though, the WAC and the Horaya AC are slightly odded than the others.
Group D
Like the group B, this group is also very tough. Except the novices senegaleses of Teungueth, the other clubs use to play the competition. The senegalese club will be followed by ES Tunis, MC Alger and Zamalek, all of them have win the competition at least one time. In this group, a former champion will necessarily be eliminated because there is only two places for the quarterfinals like in the other groups. Every point ought to be deserved.

The games of the Matchday1
The first Matchday of this CAF Champions league offers good posters, as enticing as each other. The champion of the last year, Al Ahly will begin at home against Al Merreikh.
