Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta confirmed that midfielder Thomas Partey picked up another injury in gunners’ loss to Aston Villa.

Partey is having complicated debuts with Arsenal since joining the London side from Atletico Madrid in October last year.

He went on making just eleven Premier League appearances with Arsenal. His last injury was in December and was back in mid-January.

But the 27-year-old is yet to say goodbye to his bad days at London.

“He had a muscular injury so we had to take him off,” Arteta said.

“He could not carry on playing. I don’t know [how bad it is].

“We will see the extent of the injury. He wasn’t feeling well enough to continue playing so we had to take him off.”
