Africa Soccer GHANA : SALZBURG SIGN TWO YOUNGSTERS FROM GHANA ON LONG TERM

Austria’s Red Bull Salzburg FC have once again turned to Africa for talent after signing two up-and-coming players from Ghana.

Salzburg confirmed via their website to have signed Daniel Owusu and Forson Amankwah on five-year deals.

We have signed two talents from Ghana. Daniel Owusu (in the black T-Shirt) and Forson Amankwah (in the white T-Shirt) have both signed until 2025,” reports www.redbullsalzburg.at/en/fc-red-bull-salzburg/new

The club says Amankwah is aged 18 and joined Salzburg from the West African Football Academy.

The midfielder will play as a cooperation player for FC Liefering,” the website says.

On the other hand, midfielder Owusu was born on December 31 2002 and has joined from SC West African Football Academy.

 “Daniel Owusu is also 18, also joins from WAFA, has signed a contract until 31 May 2025 and will play first as a cooperation player at SV Horn,” the website adds.

Salzburg is home to some of the rising African talents such as Zambians Enock Mwepu and Patson Daka who have been linked with moves to big clubs.
