Nigeria Nwfl:Battle for the title resumes after league suspension

 
The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership returns on Wednesday after it was suspended in January for clubs to carry out appropriate COVID-19 test.
 
The NWFL Premiership which was suspended after Matchday 4 enters week 5 as the battle for the title gets hotter.
 
A total of 28 games has been played with 72 goals scored by 40 different players.
 
It’s a South-South derby when top of the log, Bayelsa Queens travel to the Agbor Township Stadium to trade tackles with Delta Queens.
 
Oshogbo will play host to the South West derby when Osun Babes welcome Dreamstar Ladies.
 
Defending champions Rivers Angels will travel to Abia to confront Abia Angels.
 
Nasarawa Amazons who claimed their first win against Delta Queens on Matchday 4 will be hoping to claim their first away win when they travel to Benin City to tackle Edo Queens.
 
In other fixtures scheduled for Matchday 5 Confluence Queens will have to be on guard when they host FC Robo.
 
Pelican Stars and Royal Queens will face off in another South South derby.
