Africa Soccer Hearts of Oak’ Coach Tried To Bring Cristiano Ronaldo And Lionel Messi To Africa

Former Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs coach Kostadin Papic has claimed he attempted to sign Cristiano Ronaldo for Hearts of Oak.

Papic, who is now coaching Hearts of Oak in Ghana, admitted his team is in need of players. so much so that he even wants to recruit Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.

It is not about what I want. And it is not about what we need. It is all about available players. I cannot do anything if the player is not available.” Said Papic as quoted Joy Online Sports.

Whichever player I want that is not the issue. I want Messi. But unfortunately, he is not available. And I tried Ronaldo and he told me he cannot come.” Revealed Papic.

Hearts of Oak are standing 11th on the Ghanaian Premier League after 13 games.

They are six points behind log leaders and rivals Asante Kotoko.
