Black Stars defender Alexander Djiku has won Strasbourg’s Player of the Month (January) award for his stellar performances.

The 26-year-old has completed 6 defensive clearances and 5 interceptions against Lens, Dijon (7 and 6) and Reims (3 and 3).

He featured in all games played by the Alsace outfit in January and has had a great influence at back as the club just conceded two goals in the first month of the year.

So far this season, Alexander Djiku made 20 league appearances with Racing Club Strasbourg.
