Africa Soccer Super Falcons coach Waldrum named squad for Turkish Women’s Cup

Super Falcons head coach Randy Waldrum released a 23-woman squad who will take part in the Turkish Women’s Cup starting from 15th to February 24th.

The Nigerian Football Federation cleared Waldrum’s team to participate in this tournament in late December.

The team included most of the stars in the Nigerian women team and will serve of preparations for the new coach.

The players will also be eager to achieve after their non-expected exit from Tokyo Olympics games by Cote d’Ivoire.

In addition, Ukraine, Serbia, India, Bulgaria, Uzbekistan and Equatorial Guinea have also confirmed their participation in the tournament.

The main goal of Nigeria is to do better than Ghana’s Black Queens who earned a third-place finish last year as Chile won the trophy.
