Arsenal have confirmed earlier on Thursday that Thomas Partey will not be available for their clash against Leeds United on Sunday.
Partey has contracted a hamstring injury last Saturday as gunners bow to Aston Villa in an away game.
The 27-year-old played 74 minutes before giving his place to Willian.
After the game, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta confirmed that the Ghanaian midfielder has a “muscular injury”.
And Thomas Partey is yet to recover from his injury as confirmed by the club.
“Thomas sustained a strain to his left hamstring during last Saturday’s match at Aston Villa and will miss the match against Leeds United on Sunday”, Arsenal announced.
“Thomas will continue to be assessed and rehabilitate from this injury.”
