Africa Soccer Nwfl week 6 preview: Battle of the Queens and Ladies continue

It will be another exhilarating ties in the Nigeria Women Football League(NWFL) Premiership which enters week 6 on Wednesday.
Following the return of the NWFL Premiership last week Wednesday after it was suspended, the stake will be high on Matchday 6.
Only seven goals was scored on Matchfay 5 which is one of the goal shy week so far.

Confluence Queens Vs Delta Queens

Delta Queens who ended Bayelsa Queens unbeaten streak on Matchday 5 will go in search of their first away win when they travel to Lokoja to play Confluence Queens.
The Pearls have failed to win or pick a point in their last two away games losing to Rivers Angels and Nasarawa Amazons.

With Confluence Queens playing at home back to back their head coachh, Whyte Ogbonda will be aiming to catch on the advantage and win a second consecutive game.

Delta Queens head coach David Ochei will unleash his newly signed player, Peace Abbey and Odubanjo Dominance to try and take home somehing.

FC Robo Vs Royal Queens

Another Delta State club, Royal Queens will be on the road once again as they travel to the Lagos to play FC Robo.

Royal Queens shared the spoils with Pelican Stars last week and will be building on that momentum when they play against Emmanuel Osahon side at the Legacy Pitch, Surulere Lagos.

FC Robo will be without two of their top players, Monday Gift and Habibat Aminwande  who are currently in Turkey with the Super Falcons for the Turkey women’s tournament invitation.

FC Robo Queens have won all their games at home this season and will be looking forward to another great test against Royal Queens.

Dreamstar Ladies won their last home game against Ibom Angels and will want another one against Pelican Stars who haven’t won a game this season.

Rivers Angels Vs Osun Babes

Rivers Angels earned their first away victory this season last week against Ibom Angels and will do all they can on the pitch to continue with the streak.

They remain one of the team’s that haven’t lost a game this season.

Osun Babes will look up to the test and try to put an upset in place when both sides meet on Saturday.

The last time both sides met in Port-harcourt, the game ended 2-1 in favour of the ‘New Vision’ Ladies.

Another tough battle for the Orange Ladies to face on the road.
