Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson hailed his teammates Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane after their respective goals in UEFA Champions league against RB Leipzig.

The Reds have put an end to their slump of results with a champions league away win on Tuesday.

And the two Liverpool goals were scored by the Egyptian and the Senegalese international.

And the pressure that both African stars put on the Bundesliga defence pleased their skipper Henderson who said it after the game.

“They [Salah and Mane] looked lively all game. I thought they pressed really well from the front and then won it back twice with the pressing and got the rewards with the goals in the end,” Henderson told Liverpool’s official website.

They will have to continue on this form next Saturday against Everton at Anfield.
