Zamalek’s men’s handball team have beaten arch rivals Al Ahly in the Egyptian League.

Despite Al Ahly’s lead in the first-half with a 15-14 scoreline, the Whites managed to come from behind in the second-half.

The Red Devils then increased their lead by three points, ending the first five minutes with a 20-17 scoreline.

Zamalek went on to reduce the gap little by little. And they managed to win with a one-point difference, 28-27.

The Whites, therefore, climbed to the top of league table, equaling leader Al Ahly and Sporting with 13 points.
