Africa Soccer CAF CL : Miquissone’s strike secures maximum points for Simba ahead of Al Ahly

Simba SC seal a slim win at home against Al Ahly on matchday 2 of the CAF champions league on Tuesday afternoon.

With the support of their 30,000 fans, the Lions got the three points over Pitso Mosimane’s Red Devils.

Didier Gomes side made a strong start tot he game and was rewarded after 30 minutes of play as Luis Miquissone gave the lead to the home outfit.

Both teams went to the locker room with the advantage for the Tanzanian side.

Despite tactical changes performed by Pitso Mosimane who brought in Mohamed Magdy, Marwan Moshen, Mohamed Sherif and Ayman Ashraf, Simba’s defensive line remained solid until the end of the game.

Simba are now on top of Group A with six points followed by DR Congo giants AS Vita Club who trashed Al-Merrikh (4-1) as Al Ahly ranked third.
