Africa Soccer Victor Gomes Appointed To Officiate Kenya – Egypt AFCON Qualification Match

Kenya and Egypt are meeting on 25 March 2021 in Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification match. And the CAF has appointed South African referee Victor Gomes to take charge of this encounter.

The match will take place at the Moi International Sports Centre in Nairobi.

This AFCON appointment will add to a list of encounters to Gomes will officiate including matches in the CAF Champions League as well as the CAF Confederations Cup. 

It will be an all-South African officials affair. As three of his countrymen will assist Gomes in his duties. Zakhele Siwela will serve as the first Assistant Referee. Athenkosi Ndongeni second Assistant Referee and Abongile Tom will take charge as the fourth official.

Victor Gomes, 38, has been an international referee since 2011.
