Former Al Ahly defender Sherif Abdel-Fadil said Pitso Mosimane was wrong in his tactical choices while explaining Red Devils’ loss to Simba SC on CAF Champions league matchday 2.

The South African manager decided to bench Mohamed Hamdy Afsha for that important clash.

And Abdel-Fadil said this was the biggest mistake Mosimane did against the Tanzanian champions in Dar Es Salam.

“Mosimane surprised us by his defensive playing style [against Simba]. Simba players are skilled and pacey,” Abdel-Fadil said, per KingFut.

“Mosimane was wrong to not start with Afsha because he is capable of linking between the lines and would have given the team possession of the ball“, he added.
