Dstv Premiership side Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly banned their goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune from using social media in an attempt to help him focus on the game.
The Bafana Bafana shot stopper has been caught alongside his teammate Willard Katsande and Siphelele Ntshangase on February 20 while the Glamour Boys were drawing to SuperSport United in the league.
According to Kickoff, the club’s board have now decided to ban Itumeleng Khune from social and the later has understood the decision and vows to bow to tit.
“It was not for bad intentions by the club but to help the player [Khune] focus on his soccer career,” a close source told the cited media.
“The player has taken the club’s action in good spirits and there are no issues.”
That said, Khune will be no longer posting nor answering questions on social media for a moment.
