Egyptian forward Mohamed Trezeguet unveiled the name of his idol when he started playing as he was talking with beIN Sports.

The 26-year-old confessed that Egypt and Al Ahly legend Mohamed Aboutrika is his idol, as he has had the chance to play alongside him in his early debuts with the Reds Devils in Cairo.

“Aboutrika is an idol to myself and to any player. I was lucky to play beside him and I learned a lot from him,” Trezeguet told beIN Sports, as per KingFut.

“I won several titles with Aboutrika and I played in the Club World Cup with him.”

Furthermore, Mohamed Trezeguet whose playin time is regressing with Aston Villa this season, acknowledged that he need to perform well with the Pharaohs in order to achieve their goals.

“The feeling of being with the national team is different than that of being with the club. We have a great technical staff and players”, he said.

“Last year I fought to play as a starter at Aston Villa and I was a reason that the team avoids relegation but here you always have to play at your best to be a starter.” he concluded.
