AFCON Pharaohs leave Cairo for Nairobi for their 2021 AFCON qualifier vs Kenya

Egypt national team left Cairo earlier this Tuesday for Nairobi where they will engage Kenya on Thursday, March 25 for the matchday 5 of the 2021 AFCON qualifiers.

The team was led by coach Hossam El-Badry with Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, Arsenal’s Mohamed Elneny, Galatasaray’s Mostafa Mohamed bien part of the contingent to Kenyan main city.

However, Ittihad Jeddah defender Ahmed Hegazi who did not join the team in Cairo will travel directly form Saudi Arabia to Nairobi. Meantime, Ahmed Fathi is left behind as he has a cold after the last tarining session.

Pharaohs are currently on top of Group G with 8 points as second-based nation Comoros who they will face in the penultimate AFRICA Cup of Nations qualifier on March 30 in Cairo.
