Delta Queens have been hunting for their first away win in rheir last previous away games but continued to share the points.

 

 

The first half opened with the visitors having more control of play which paid off in the forth minute of play as Comfort Folorunsho stylishly tucked in the ball in the net of the opponents after a super free kick just in front of box 18.

 

The goal woke up the lions in Osun babes as they came all out but could not break a resillient Delta Queens defence and the goal post solidly mounted by skipper Ihuoma Onuegbu.

 

The first half ended with Comfort goal making the difference.

 

Delta Queens almost doubled the lead but for an unpardonable miss by new girl Peace Abbey in the 56th minute of play so the visitors had to settle for a narrow 0-1 win to pick first away win and move a step up the NWFL log to second position behind high-fliers  Bayelsa Queens.
