In line with the directives from the local organizing committee for the national sports festival tagged Edo 2020, Delta State athletes and officials that all athletes and officials of state have received their shot of the COVID-19 Vaccine.
The LOC had directed that all contingent must undergo COVID-19 test and show evidence of vaccination against covid 19.
The State Director General of sports Commission, Sir Chris Ananzia said the process will start from the state capital, Asaba where bulk of the athletes are camped and then extend to other various camps outside the state capital.

” As we all know, that Delta state before now usually take a lot of athletes and officials to the sports festival, and if we must meet up with the instructions coming from the LOC we need to start vaccinating our entire team early.
The sports Commission is working with other relevant agencies concerned to make sure everything goes on smoothly”
Team Delta is the current champion of the national sports festival.
