AFCON AFCON QUALIFIER : GAMBIA TAKE AN EARLY LEAD AGAINST ANGOLA

Gambia are hosting Angola with the hosts hoping to cement their place at the Africa Cup of Nations finals.

Gambia went into the Group D match with seven points from four games whereas Angola sit bottom with one point.

A loss today for the Angolans could see them eliminated.

So far the Tom Saintfiet’s men have gone ahead through a goal from Assan Ceesay in the second half.

First-half had ended goalless.

In another game underway, Gabon are hosting the Democratic Republic of Congo who have six points behind Gabon’s seven points.
