Zambia’s star striker Patson Daka says the Chipolopolo have 100 percent chances of qualifying for the 2021 AFCON finals.

The Austria-based striker said this as Zambia host already qualified Algeria on Thursday evening with the Chipolopolo hoping to revive their campaign.

“We have 100 percent chance to qualify, we have two games to play, and we need victories in both matches and that is what we want to achieve. We know that it is a di or die game,” Daka told Football Association of Zambia website.

 He has scored 20 goals in 18 league matches in the Austrian champions, Red Bull Salzburg and hopes to replicate that form for country.

 “We have to make sure that we focus on Algeria because it is the first challenge that we have. We will look at the next challenge, so we just have to deal with Algeria first and see what next.”

 “It is a pity that they are not in the stadium to witness this game. It is always amazing to play the games with fans, the atmosphere that they bring. I believe they are always with us in their various places even their support,” he said.

Zambia are bottom of their group with three points, one point behind Botswana who welcome Zimbabwe in another match for the group. The Warriors have five points while Algeria have 10 points.
