Super Eagles players and officials have arrived Porto Novo ahead of their African Nations Cup (AFCON) qualifier against Benin on Saturday.
The team traveled through water from Lagos to Cotonou before connecting Porto Novo through a bus.
According to a tweet released on the Super Eagles Twitter account, the team on arrival did their mandatory COVID-19 test at point of entry.

“We have arrived in Porto Novo. We also had our mandatory Covid test done at the point of entry.
“We’ve settled in and lodged at the Golden Tulip Le Diplomat Hotel in Cotonou.”
Super Eagles defeated the Squirrels 2-0 in the first leg of the AFCON qualifier on Matchday 1 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium Uyo.
