AFCON AFCON Qualifier: Super Eagles Depart For Benin Via Water

Super Eagles players and officials have departed to Cotonou for their African Nations Cup qualifier against Benin Republic.

 
 
The team as earlier scheduled, travelled through waterway and are expected to arrive Cotonou this afternoon.
 
Players and officials were dressed in life jacket in a a picture shared  via the Super Eagles Twitter account.

The team is expected to immediately travel to Porto Novo where the will face the Squirrels in Matchday 5 of the AFCON.
 
Nigeria need a draw to join other nations have booked their place in the final of the 2021 AFCON including tiny Comoros Island who qualified before Egypt.
 
The team will return to Lagos on Sunday and prepare for the last qualifier against Lesotho at the Teslim Balogun Stadium on Tuesday 31.
