AFCON We must focus on the World Cup qualifiers- Al-Badri

Egypt head coach Hossam Al-Badri has urged his players to focus on achieving qualification to the 2022 FIFA World Cup to be hosted by Qatar.
 
Egypt will play Comoros in their last AFCON qualifiers game with both side playing for formalities following their qualification.
 
Al-Badri while speaking after the team training at the Petrosport stadium on Sunday revealed that he wasn’t happy with the team performance despite qualifying to the AFCON.

“We must focus on the World Cup qualifiers, and there must be more time for the team to set up camps and friendly matches,
 
and after the Comoros match we will determine our needs, and just as we l in achieving the goal of qualifying for the Nations Cup, we want to reach the World Cup. “
“I am not satisfied with the performance provided by the national team, as well as the players, and the matter has nothing to do with professionals abroad or others, which made us unhappy despite qualifying for the African Nations Cup.”
