Cameroon FIFA WORLD CUP : Malawi to start World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon in June

Malawi’s Flames will start their 2022 FIFA World Cup group stage qualifiers with an away fixture against Cameroon between June 5 to 7 2021.

CAF released full fixture for the Africa group stages which were shelved last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Flames are in group D alongside Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire and Mozambique.

Malawi will then host Mozambique between June 11 and 14 2021.

Three months later the Flames will play Cote d’Ivoire back-to-back starting at home between September 1 to 4 and away between September 5 and 8.

Flames’ last home match will be against Cameroon between October 6 and 9 2021 and they will wind up the campaign away in Mozambique between October 10 and 12.

The winners of the 10 groups will qualify for the next round where they will face off to identify the five teams that will qualify for the World Cup to take place in Qatar next year.
