Premier League ‘Mohamed Salah will not leave Liverpool’ , ex-teammate

Micah Richards, a former teammate of Mohamed Salah at Fiorentina said the Egyptian will not leave Liverpool this summer despite transfer rumors.

Salah still has two years left in his contract with the Anfield side. However, his stellar performances arise interests from all over Europe with top clubs the likes of Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, being eager to land him in La Liga.

So far, the 28-year-old who score his 93rd Premier League goal in 150 appearances against Arsenal on Saturday night, said he is ruling out playing a day in the Spanish top-flight.

But for Richards, Mohamed Salah will not leave because of the love he has for Liverpool.

“What more do people want from him? 92 goals in 149 appearances for Liverpool. He’s doing his job,” he told Sky Sports.

“When I was in Italy with Mo Salah, he absolutely loved Liverpool. He loves Liverpool [now] – I would be surprised if he wanted to go anywhere else,” he added.
