Pitso Mosimane Simba SC game does not mean anything

Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane said their tie against Simba SC on Friday in CAF Champions league does not mean anything despite Red Devils’ loss in the first leg.

The Cairo-based outfit have lost their first leg in Dar Es Salam as Luis Miquissone’s strike secured maximum points for the home side.

So far, both teams managed to qualify for the quarter-finals, and no matter what happens on Friday, Simba SC will remain on top of Group A.

So there is not longer a stake, but the South African manager insisted that they will play to win.

“Tomorrow’s game result does not mean anything for the qualification, but it means a lot for our supporters “, Pitso said in pre-match press conference.

“We are Al Ahly and we will play against any one, as we managed to win nine stars.

“We play every game to win and we respect all the teams” Pitso Mosimane added.
