News Aiyenugba Hails Musa Decision To Rejoin Kano Pillars

Kwara United goalkeeper Dele Aiyenugba has praised Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa on his decision to rejoin his boyhood club,Kano Pillars.

 
Nigeria Professional Football League( NPFL) club, Kano Pillars on Tuesday confirmed that Musa agreed to join the club for the remainder of the season.
 
Musa has been without club since 2020 after his contract with Saudi Arabia club Al-Nassr was terminated with two years remaining in his four years contract.
 
Aiyenugba in an interview with Legit.com said his Super Eagles teammate will enjoy his stay with Kano Pillars.

”I can’t wait for me to face him in the League when my team Kwara United tackle Kano Pillars. It will be interesting.”
 
 
It was a good decision and I want to welcome Ahmed Musa back to the Nigerian League as I am sure that he will definitely enjoy his stay at Kano Pillars because he is not new their.
 
“We were teammates for years in the Super Eagles and very close and all I can say about Ahmed Musa is that he is a gentle and humble person who always want peace”. 
 
Aiyenugba joined Kwara United from Israeli club Hapoel Afula this season and has been instrumental in Kwara United’s impressive performance as they currently top the NPFL table.
 
The Kwara United safest pair of hands left Enyimba for Bnei Yehuda in 2007.
 
He made 294 appearances for the Isareli side before joining Hapoel Asheklon in 2016 and last played for Hapoel Afula before returning to Nigeria to continue his football career.
