Africa Soccer SOUTH AFRICA : TTM boot out Sundowns from Nedbank Cup

Unfancied Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) stunned favourites Mamelodi Sundowns in a Nedbank Cup semi-final match on Sunday. in South Africa.

TTM beat Sundowns 6-5 on post-match penalties at Loftus Versfeld after a goalless draw in 90 minutes.

Sundowns made several changes to the starting line-up including fielding cardo Goss, Ricardo Nascimento and Lesedi Kapinga.

The DStv Premiership leaders rested most regulars save for leading striker Peter Shalulile.

The move backfired as TTM held on to force the draw and the penalties.

The result sees TTM proceeding to the final to date Chippa United.

Chippa beat Pretoria Callies, who are campaigning in the GladAfrica Championship, 1-0 in Atteridgeville on Saturday.
