Ghana Maxwell Konadu appointed new Ghana U-17 head coach

Ghana Football Association have announced earlier on Tuesday morning the appointment of Maxwell Konadu at the helm of Ghana Black Starlets.

Asante Kotoko have sacked Konadu from his post of head coach of the Porcupine Warriors on December 18 after 18 games, 8 wins, 6 draws and 4 losses .

So far, the 48-year-old tactician has been without a work and finally got justice recently as Ghana FA Players’ Status Committee (PSC) asked Asante Kotoko to pay him over $40,000 for unilateral termination of contract.

The same GFA now named him as the head coach. “Maxwell Konadu has been appointed as coach of the national U-17 team, otherwise known as Black Starlets”, a statement on Ghana FA’s official website reads.

  1. Maxwell Konadu – Head Coach
  2. Winfred Dormon – Assistant Coach
  3. Ignatius Osei Fosu – Assistant Coach
  4. George Owoo – Goal Keepers Trainer
  5. Yussif Andani – Team Doctor
  6. Mensah Agbovor – Welfare Officer
  7. Albert Evedzi – Physiotherapist
  8. Abduali Zakari – Masseur
  9. Baba Aluta Equipment Officer
