Nigeria NPFL Done Deals Ahead Of 2020/2021 Season Second Stanza

The second round of the 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League(NPFL) will start on May 9, 2021.

The quest for the title and fight to avoid relegation will be intensed when the league restart.
Kwara United, Kano Pillars and Akwa United are the top three teams and they will be hoping to maintain the momentum.
Warri Wolves, Katsina United, FC IfeanyiUbah and Adamawa United rock bottom of the table.
With hostility set to return next week, most clubs are busy in the transfer window with intention to fortify their squad ahead of the season resumption.

Sunday Adetunji

Sunday Adetunji move to Plateau United before the start of the season attracted media attention and it was expected that the forward will hit the ground running and help the Jos side.
However, things were not rosy as he got less playing time with the team.
He ended his contract with Plateau United to join Rivers United.

Ahmed Musa

Nobody saw this coming and when the news started filtering the media, there was doubt until it was finally announced by the club.
Musa inability to secure a club in Europe before the end of the winter transfer window after terminating his contract with Al-Nassr made him a free agent.
Musa took the bold step to rejoin his boyhood club Kano Pillars for the remainder of the season and without payment.

Mahmoud Jamaal 

The NPFL is gradually gaining popularity and the arrival of the Egyptian left-back who joined Wikki Tourists till the end of the season is a testament of how the league is gradually becoming destination for players.
