The Congolese football association has reportedly gone back to the drawing board after their target, Hugo Broos, opted to pick South Africa coaching job.

Several media outlets in Congo had suggested that the FA was set to unveil the former Cameroon coach on Wednesday following resolutions from a Tuesday executive committee meeting.

However, the Belgium ended up being unveiled as Bafana Bafana coach on a five-year contract estimated at $50,000 monthly salary.

He has replaced Ntseki Molefe who was sacked.

Now the Congolese FA is said to have turned attention to Christian N’sengi, the former Kenya mentor.

According to the latest news, Sébastien Migné is in the process of being appointed coach of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Frenchman is one of the finalists in the choice made by the Fédé.

Migné, former deputy of Claude Leroy, knows Congolese Football for having been in the den during the 2013 African Cup of Nations. However, another call for candidates should not be ruled out,” Footrdc reports.
