After the official announcement by SAFA, the details of the contract of Hugo Broos, the new Bafana Bafana head coach have been revealed.

Broos has just been confirmed as the next South Africa national team head coach as a replacement of Molefi Ntseki who got sacked after failing to qualify Bafana Bafana for AFCON 2021.

During this morning presser, SAFA did not provide further details about the 69-year-old’s contract.

However, according to reliable journalist Nuhu Adams, the Belgian manager signed a five-year contract with South Africa. He is tipped to earn about US$50,000 monthly.

The former Cameroon manager is tasked to qualify Bafana Bafana for the 2022 Qatar World Cup starting from the first qualifying game against Zimbabwe in the first week of June.

“The Belgian coach is expected to arrive in South Africa next week”, SAFA added.
