Belgian manager Hugo Broos has been confirmed this Wednesday as the new Bafana Bafana head coach during a press conference at SAFA headquarters.
As reported by Africa Top Sports earlier today, Broos who was topping the race for the South African job has been confirmed.
Broos will then replace Molefi Ntseki who was sacked after failing to qualify South Africa for the AFCON 2021 to be played next year in Cameroon.
South Africa are drawn in Group G for the 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifiers, together with Ghana, Ethiopia and Zimbabwe.
Bafana Bafana kick off their World Cup campaign with an away match against Zimbabwe in the first week of June 2021.
