Africa Soccer Black Stars could play friendlies in June after WC qualifiers postponement

Following the postponement of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in Africa, the Black Stars of Ghana could play two friendly games in the same period.

Confederation of African Football (CAF) has decided in concertation with the emergency sector of FIFA to postpone to September 2021, the first and second games of the World Cup qualifiers in the continent due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

And according to Ghanasoccernet, the Black Stars could be in action in June as Charles Akonnor would like to give new players playing time in order to get prepared for the AFCON 2021 and World Cup qualifiers later this year.
