African players abroad ZAMBIA : Rangers-bound Sakala wants to finish on high in Belgium

Rangers FC-bound Zambian striker, Fashion Sakala, has said he wants to finish his career in Belgium on a high.

The Oostende striker Sakala has signed a four-year contract with the Scottish giants with effect from next season.

He spoke about his farewell after scoring in the 5-3 jupiter League match loss to Mechellen on Sunday.

I do feel good. I really wanted a win. It is unfortunate that we have lost. The most important thing could have been a win. I think that is the only gift I can give to the club and to the fans,” Sakala told Oostende TV.

The Chipolopolo forward scored alongside Arthur Seate and Andrew Hjulsager.

It was his 14th league goal in 30 matches for Oostende.

Mechellen won the match through goals from Nikola Storm, Karim Mrabti, Jordi Vanlerberghe and Igor Camargo.

Sakala feels Oostende, who are on position five with 53 points from 34 games, can push for European football finish.

Clube Brugge lead the race with 74 points.
